1、 Color masterbatch containing coloring agents
Masterbatch is the most widely used coloring method in plastic coloring. Different coloring agents endow plastic products with different color properties. Characteristics such as hue, coloring power, coverage, transparency, color fastness (such as sun resistance, weather resistance, solvent resistance, migration resistance, heat resistance), etc.
For plastic packaging materials, the purpose of coloring is not only to meet the requirements of ordinary color identification, but also to attract consumers' attention to the novelty of packaging and stimulate their purchasing ideas, thereby promoting product sales. Plastic color masterbatch will be matched with some common colors according to the packaging material manufacturer for selection, and special colors need to be customized to flexibly meet the color requirements of the molding manufacturer.

Functional masterbatch refers to masterbatch containing functional additives other than color. Each function depends on the active ingredients contained, and there are mainly three categories:
1. Processing and Forming Performance
Processing aid masterbatch that eliminates melt fracture and reduces die scaling; Cooling masterbatch for reducing the processing temperature during molding; Dry masterbatch that absorbs moisture from raw materials; Smooth masterbatch for easy demolding of injection molded parts; Anti slip masterbatch to prevent slipping during film winding; Anti adhesion masterbatch to prevent adhesion between films during unwinding; Save materials such as cleaning masterbatch for color changing and cleaning machines; By using such functional masterbatch, the molding quality is good, the molding processing operation is convenient, the production efficiency is improved, and energy consumption is reduced.
2. Forming physical and chemical properties
If improving thermal aging, antioxidant masterbatch can inhibit the yellowing of finished products; Anti aging masterbatch for improving the weather resistance of finished products; Nucleation masterbatch or anti transparency masterbatch that enhances the rigidity or transparency of the product; Toughened masterbatch for improving the mechanical properties of molded parts; Smooth masterbatch that reduces the surface friction coefficient of molded parts; Open masterbatch that reduces the opening torque of bottle caps; Thermal conductive masterbatch for improving the thermal conductivity of plastic parts; Conductive EPP masterbatch that improves conductivity, filling masterbatch that improves the mechanical properties of plastics and reduces costs, etc.

Generally, the masterbatch is single functional. Like color masterbatch, it only provides color function; Anti static masterbatch, only providing anti-static function; Multiple functions are superimposed.
